Super Rare Antique Vintage 1st Ever Schuco Patent Tin Windup Mechanical Toy Car
First ever toy car produced by famous toy maker Schuco. Car features the famous Schuco no fall action that prevents it from falling off edge of table. An extremely rare car and in my opinion very undervalued even at this price.
This is an important part of Schuco's history and an inspiration important part of the history of mechanical toy cars overall! Check out the video to see it in action! Car is in good working order. When the front edge of the car goes off the edge of a table, a protruding piece of rubber on the bottom catches on the surface of the table causing it to turn away from the edge, preventing it from falling. The original rubber piece on the bottom was dried out a bit and has been coated with liquid rubber.
Rubber on original back wheel was deteriorated, so outer part was replaced with 3D printed plastic wheel and also coated with liquid rubber.
