Rare Vintage / Antique Original Shop Advertising Tin Sign Pripsen Pharmacy

The Carlisle based factory was created in 1799 by Benjamin Scott and they produced a wide array of items from bank note plates for the bank of England through to lithographic prints and tin boxes. In 1922 the company set up a sub division called the metal box company which produced advertising signs like this as well as metal boxes for well known comapnies such as cadburys or toffee and chocolate boxes.
