Rare Vintage Antique Cunard White Star Large Steamer Trunk Suitcase Brass Clasps
Here we have a fantastic, rare, antique steamer trunk with brass hardware & rivets. A gorgeous deep greeny blue colour with a black trim.
Made in the UK by Langmuir. This is a large trunk with 2 compartments in blue & white. Covered & bound with genuine vulcanized fibre.
The trunk has weathered nicely over the years, but I have waxed it to freshen it up. Perfect for a coffee table with lots of storage space.
This trunk is real vintage/antique & as such, it has age related wear, such as scuffing/scratching etc, to the finish. Lots of patina to the brass hardware.
1 rivet is missing underneath. Some of the interior has worn with use & the top right of the inner compartment has split with the hinge bracket butting up to it, none of which is detrimental or hinders its use (see pics). It just shows the life & history of the trunk. This is a fantastic item.
Please accept that this is a used trunk, in used condition. No IRELAND OR ISLE OF WIGHT/MAN, SORRY.
This has to go large & long Parcel Force which is why its so expensive. Collection is welcome & preferred.
