RARE Louis Vuitton Antique Vintage Steamer Trunk Cabin Vuittonite Sunkissed
This cabin trunk is rare because of its colour. Originally the trunk was an orange colour (it can be seen along the rim when the trunk is opened).
With over 90 years of sunlight, the orange colour faded to become a rich yellow, but not as bright as the original yellow vuittonite. This colour patina is called "sunkissed". The condition of this trunk is amazing. Although worn, every leather detail is in place without deterioration or major damage. It is rare to find a trunk that has its original leather handles and belt loops (especially the small one above the lock) to be in such great patinated condition.
