Very Rare & Fine old Indian Beadwork Horse Neck Cover, this extremely fine Beadwork was made by the Kathi Darbar Community from the region of Gujarat. It's been owned by a collector for many years and kept in a box, it's in fine original condition, with minor wear but overall, in lovely condition - it was made approx 50 - 70 years ago.
It's a large piece, originally made as a Neck Cover for a Horse to celebrate a wedding, measuring 70 inches in diameter and 36 inches high. Its an exceptional piece, the tiny tiny beads so wonderfully sewn, showing animals, birds, trees and people, there are also 12 small mirrors attached. It really is a very special piece and will appeal to collectors.
